Blue Angels

Air Show Performers 2023: What to know

Are you looking forward to this year’s incredible lineup of air show performers? Here are three of the performers that you don’t want to miss at this year’s show!

Hercules of The Sky

Fat Albert is the official chaperone and cargo carrier of the Blue Angels. Since the 1970’s, Fat Albert played an integral part of the Blue Angels team accompanying the Angels to every airshow. The modified Lockheed C-130J Super Hercules piloted by the Marines, will warm up the crowd with its incredible aerobatic maneuvers.

The Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF)

Established in December 1963, the MAGTF is a powerful force designed to respond instantly to non-combative crises and protect threatened allied interests. This demonstration includes four essential elements – command, ground, aviation, and logistics. Witness MAGTF demonstrating the Marine Corps’ immense capabilities, especially when faced with short-notice situations.

Angels of the Sky

One of the biggest highlights of the air show will be when The Blue Angels take center stage, showcasing their remarkable teamwork, professionalism, and precision combat maneuvers. With a rich history dating back to the 1940s, the Blue Angels have consistently mesmerized audiences of all generations by pushing aircraft capabilities beyond their limits and demonstrating masterful communication and piloting skills.

Air Force heritage foundation

The Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation provides Heritage Flights performances to the public, providing performances that feature modern fighter and attack aircraft flying alongside World War II, Korea and Vietnam-era planes. These performances serve as a memorial to the men and women who have served and are serving in the U.S. Air Force. Warbird P-51 Mustang, Wee Willy II, was dominant in Western Europe after it was introduced in World War II. This aircraft flies at a speed of 437 miles per hour.

Mike Goulian

Mike Goulian is known for a crisp, athletic style of flying and aerobatic talent. Champion of the United States Unlimited Aerobatic Championship at 27 years of age and representative of the United States at the World Aerobatic Championships on 3 occasions, Goulian is a performer with special performances you don’t want to miss.
