The STEM Exhibit at the Innovation and Technology Expo during the 2024 Miramar Air Show promises to be a hub of creativity and innovation. This year, we’re excited to showcase a diverse lineup of industry leaders, educators, and cutting-edge organizations who are driving the future of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). From hands-on demonstrations to immersive educational activities, attendees of all ages will have the chance to explore the latest advancements and learn from the experts shaping tomorrow’s technology. Here’s a preview of who you can expect to see at this exciting exhibit!
American Institue of Aeronautics and Astronautics
American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics – San Diego (AIAA-SD). With nearly 30,000 individual members from 91 countries, and 95 corporate members, AIAA is the world’s largest technical society dedicated to the global aerospace profession. AIAA-SD provides inspiring and educational activities for the local aerospace industry and scholarships for the academic community (K-12, community colleges, and universities).
The AIAA-SD booth will have aerospace professionals sharing information about aviation and hands-on aerospace hardware on display and educational opportunity handouts on the paths for becoming an aerospace professional. Shaping the future of aerospace takes passion, fresh ideas, collaboration, and above all else, your encouragement. You can make an impression on young minds who may become industry trailblazers and innovators. That’s one reason why AIAA offers educators free membership to K-12 for Educator Membership benefits.
