Food & Beverage
Volunteers raise money for their squadron/organization funds by working in food and beverage sales. Approximately 2,500 volunteers are solicited to staff food and beverage booths and carts during the three scheduled Air Shows, i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Commands and organizations participating in the volunteer program will receive a prorated percentage of all food, beverage and cart sales*. In 2015, over $100,000 was provided to individual Command Recreation Funds and civilian community organizations.

Public chalets are chalets the general public can purchase tickets to get into.
The public chalets are: Observation Deck Chalet, Semper Fi Chalet and Devil Dog Alley Chalet.
Chalet volunteers welcome guests (customers), ensure guests are in the correct location and have the correct wristband for the chalet. These volunteers will be located at the entrance to each of the public chalets and will assist MCCS entrance employees where needed. The volunteers will also walk through the chalet to ensure safety, and must be prepared to answer a variety of questions by guests.
Chalet Shift Times:
Saturday Day: 0800-1800
Grandstands and Seating
Volunteers assigned to man one of the three entrances will either be scanning tickets, applying wrist bands or stamps, passing out brochures and/or watching the reentry. Volunteers assigned to box seating will be stationed in the box seating area where they will direct patrons to their correct seating area.
Grandstand Shift Times:
Saturday Day: 0730-1800
Semper Fi Catering
The Semper Fi Catering and Events branch of the Airshow is responsible for producing food for all of the Corporate and Ticketed chalets on the flight line. We will need volunteers in multiple areas from staffing festival style food tents for the corporate chalets, to food runners, to bar backs, staffing for the beer garden, securing the perimeter around chalet entrances, staffing inside of ticketed chalets, and everything in between. Volunteering in this area will give you a good opportunity to interact closely with Airshow patrons as well as experience another level of service provided. This area is very fast paced, with a lot of moving parts, and we are looking for people who are enthusiastic, and ready to move fast.
The 2017 Volunteer Request Form will posted here near the spring of 2017.
